Friday is laundry day

All dog bedding, blankets and towels are collected, washed and dried every Friday.

Place used bedding and towels in the laundry basket — do not leave them on the floor or in crates.

Wash on a hot cycle with pet-safe detergent and dry fully before reuse. Nothing goes back damp.

Heavily soiled items are washed straight away — do not wait for Friday.

See it? Scoop it. Bag it. Bin it.

Pick up dog poo immediately, wherever it lands — paddocks, yards, tracks and car park.

Use the poo bags provided, tie the bag and put it straight in the designated waste bin — never in general rubbish or on the ground.

Wash or sanitise your hands after every pick-up.

Tell the Site Manager when bags or bins need topping up or emptying.

Dogs on site — gate must stay shut

Close and latch this gate every time you pass through — even if someone is right behind you.

Never leave a gate propped open. An open gate is an escaped dog.

Check the latch has caught before you walk away.

Report any broken latch, hinge or fencing to the Site Manager immediately.

Stop germs spreading between dogs

Wash with soap and water (or sanitise) before and after your shift, and between groups of dogs.

Always wash after picking up poo, cleaning, or handling food, bowls and toys.

Wash before eating, drinking or leaving site.

Dogs are resting

Rest and downtime are part of every dog's day — please keep noise and disturbance to a minimum.

No shouting, running or banging doors near resting dogs.

Visitors must wait to be accompanied by a member of staff.

No smoking anywhere on site

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises — buildings, yards, paddocks or car park.

Straw, bedding and cleaning chemicals make this a high fire-risk site.

If you smoke, do so off site and wash your hands before handling dogs.
